Did you know that nearly half of American adults have high blood pressure? Having high blood pressure has many risk factors, including:

Here are some helpful tips for you to help control your blood pressure:
Be physically active, adults should get at least 2 hours and 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise a week.
Don’t smoke, smoking raises your blood pressure and puts you at a higher risk for heart attack and stroke.
Limit how much you drink, alcohol can raise your blood pressure, men should have no more than 2 alcoholic drinks per day, and women should have no more than 1.
